Since 1996 we, Michel Kaihatu and Iréne van de Beek, own a small cattery of Sacred Birmans. We live in the Netherlands in a small town called Culemborg together with our six cats of which one Persian Chinchilla tomcat just for the variation. We live in an apartment and our cats can freely move around through the house. We have also created a nice outdoor accommodation at the balcony where the cats can relax in the sun or play around a bit. Every now and then we have kittens who grow up in a familial and loving atmosphere in order to obtain a highly socialized cat that does know how to play and frolic!

We started out with two Sacred Birmans from Cattery ‘van het Aardsparadijs’.

A seal point pussycat and a blue tabby tomcat. The seal point lady  Lou-Lou has  passed a way. Yes we mis her evetry day she was a grood mother.

From Lou-Lou, Maximus La Maison des Chats was born on April 19th 2003. At the beginning of april 2009 his own last litter was born. Meanwhile Maximus has been neutered en he moved to Dordrecht together with a kitten from Carmen Confettie Dangle. They found a lovely permanent home togheter.

Carmen Confettie Dangle is a seal tortie point and a pussycat whit a story as we happen to be her third ‘staff’. She has had a lot to deal with in her young live, but fortunately for her Jocobyne met her and took her into her home. She already had one Sacred Birman, Nisa a seal point, and they became friends very quickly. Unfortunately their son became allergic and we accidently dropped by. Irene immediately fell in love with the tortie and two weeks later we had two new Birmans on our house. Tragically Nisa died during her 2nd pregnancy.

On April 24th we bought Sabbiadora’s Jolly, a chocolate point pussycat. She is a beautiful pussycat with guts! What no one else can think about she does it! At April 6 of 2009 she delivered her first litter of 3 pussycats and 2 tomcats. This is my first litter of five since the time I have been breeding. Jolly itself came from a litter of 7 and her father is Finnish.

In November of 2008 we went to Denmark for Desmira’s Devika. She is a blue tabby point with a stunning mask. Even though we don’t like to show with our cats we are planning to do so with Devika.

Than we also have Boika, a neutered Persian Chinchilla tomcat of 2003. He is just in our house as a pet as we like to have some other breed in our house as well. Boika is very sweet cat and he loves to sleep next to my pillow every night.

And we have Faya, she is a kitten from Jolly born April 6th 2009. We are happy she will stay with us.

Finally  we have May-Britt she is a kitten from Carmen born 14  March 2010.
